Supressions

Those passing glimpses
And that hidden smile
A silent few eye contacts
Make life seem worthwhile.

Many a wishful wants
And even more desires
For that which you want
(with all your heart)
Even the universe conspires

Why is it then that wishes remain
And those passing glimpses
is all that is obtained.
And even desires from the deepest heart
Nothing is ever attained.

Introspection

With all that I have behind me
And for all that lay ahead
There is nothing that can defy me
No matter, to me, what is said.

I may at times want to quit
Which may turn out to be right.
But there is one thing for sure,
I will never go down without a fight.

But what do you do
When caught in between?
Of all that there is,
And all that has been.

Little help is rendered
irrespective of how hard you work
Even though you are dedicated
All you get is dirt.

Solitude

Solitude they say
Is being alone
But, is it? Perspectives differ,
And it is more than
Just living with oneself, and
Sharing room, on the inside
Normally occupied by
Someone else.

It brings out the deepest desires
And minuscule thoughts
That only for a moment
Linger, and in the deepest corners are lost.
Give 'em a chance
to evolve, and just maybe,
the gravest problems, they solve.
And solitude they say
Is being lonely.
